What are the operating systems compatible with TIMEZERO?

TIMEZERO is compatible with Microsoft® Windows® 7 SP1, Windows® 8 Windows® 10.

Caution: Windows Server and Media Center editions are not supported.


What are the minimum requirements to install TIMEZERO?

Your PC must comply with some material and system requirements in order to use TIMEZERO.

System Requirements

  • Microsoft® Windows® 7 SP1, or Windows® 8.1 or Windows® 10
  • CPU 1.5 GHz
  • 4GB of RAM
  • Video Board:
    • Minimum – integrated Intel Graphic Chipset
    • Recommended – Dedicated Video Board with 1 GB VRAM or Intel HD 4th generation or above
  • Screen Resolution: 1024 X 600 (1280 x 800 or above recommended)
  • Hard Disk: 30 GB of free memory
  • USB or Serial Port for connecting instruments or 100 Base-T Network Adapter for Furuno Ethernet Sensors

What charts are compatible with TIMEZERO?

TIMEZERO uses MapMedia “.mm3d” charts.

These are the same charts used in the Furuno NavNet3D MFD, TZT and TZT2 series Multi-Function Chart Plotter Displays.MapMedia Raster Charts are based on official hydrographic office and select private sourced paper charts. MapMedia Vector Charts are based on official hydrographic office, C-MAP or are “Datacore by Navionics”. Navionics and C-MAP are the world’s leading specialists in nautical vector charts.

Is TIMEZERO compatible with my GPS and instruments?

TIMEZERO is compatible with any GPS or instruments that output the NMEA 0183 format. Warning: Bluetooth devices are not supported.
